What's going on with Sweet Santana Co.

      

        WOW, hard to imagine that it is the 10th of the month! Ten days have past since my last post and I would like to get everyone up to date on what is going on with Sweet Santana Co.  Well as you know so far I have been selling a few things here and there with the help of Yardsellr.  I have also set up my ETSY account, http://www.sweetsantana.etsy.com/.  I'm still toying around with them so I 'm not quite sure on how to get my ETSY site advertised other than through facebook.  Speaking of facebook, I have started a PAGE just for my "company"  www.facebook.com/pages/sweetsantanaco (follow this link and be a fan and LIKE my page) -- if you have one as well let me know and I'll do the same for you! =) 

       It's exciting to know that I have made all this on my own.  I never imagined that I would have gone this far and knowing that this is just the tip of the iceberg.  I have also set up an appointment to meet with an accountant next Monday to help me out with legal tax matters.  I'm not sure how I want to register my company since I the only operating person in my company, would that make me sole proprietor?  But since I am NOT going to make any profit and donating it all to San Diego Bulldog Rescue, am I considered non- profit? Ugh, I'm not liking all these decision, but if that's what I need in order to run and sell things legally and NOT get in to trouble with the IRS then I have to. 

      My sister in law and her boyfriend brought up a wonderful idea in the near future : Farmers Markets! DUH why didn't I think of this before hand? So it would be only fitting to become a legit business in order to participate into something this! Hey who knows, maybe some will invest in my line of things and I could become HUGE! Ha one can only dream right?  Well that's all I got, thanks for stopping by!
